| Corporations, LLCs, and registered Limited Partnerships doing business in Maryland must continuously maintain a Registered Agent with a physical Maryland street address (a PO Box alone does not qualify). The agent may be an individual resident of Maryland or an entity authorized to do business in Maryland, must be available at that address during normal business hours to accept service of process, and receives official state notices on the entity's behalf.
